Working under the direction of the Project Manager to provide inspection, maintenance and repair of life safety systems equipment at a single 200-acre commercial airport property in Tucson, AZ.
Candidates must meet all minimum qualifications as well as include the following in information on your resume; system types, manufactures equipment names and dates of service for all life safety systems experience.
Job Duties/Responsibilities for Service Technician:
- Fire alarm, detection / releasing inspections, maintenance and service repairs.
- Fire suppression inspections, maintenance and service repairs.
- Emergency lighting inspections.
- Fire extinguisher inspections.
- Weekly diesel engine runs (10 engines total).
- Coordinate scheduling with owner’s representative for all services interfering with daily customer activities.
- Daily report documentation of services performed, or scheduling discussed.
Requirements for Service Technician:
- Extremely reliable and self-sufficient.
- Ability to be prompt and courteous when interacting with the owner’s representative.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Impeccable attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability.
- Inspections to be documented by use of Inspect Point, experience a plus but not required.
Minimum Qualifications for Service Technician:
- Minimum 10 years of Fire Alarm and fire suppression inspection, maintenance and repair.
- NICET II Certification or higher.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must pass drug testing along with background checks for airport access badge.
- Valid and clean driver's license with the ability to maintain it
Travel Requirements for Service Technician:
- Customer location on-site in Tucson, AZ.
Work Location Options for the Service Technician:
- Monday through Friday 8 hours per day 1st shift.
- Very rare after-hours services calls are occasionally received and required to be addressed.
- On-site company vehicle can be used on day one of employment to include fuel and maintenance costs. After 30-60 days the company vehicle can be used Monday – Friday to commute to/from work but the employee will be responsible for fuel.
